RIU Hotels, a worldwide reference in quality service
An international survey ranks it among the three leading chains in terms of customer satisfaction.
RIU Hotels & Resorts is the world's third leading chain in providing customer satisfaction, according to a survey that ranks the Spanish brand as a international leader in quality service.
The market research was conducted by the Market Metrix company and 10,000 people who had stayed in hotels outside the US in 2006 were surveyed for the results.
RIU's devotion to its guests' total satisfaction is the touchstone of its corporate philosophy - 44% of its guests repeat the experience.
The chain was born in 1953 in Playa de Palma (Mallorca) as a small family business. It currently has over one hundred hotels in 17 countries that cater exclusively to the sun and sand resort tourism.
